Security and engineering teams are using Kodem to gain unmatched visibility, automate remediation and rely on real-time protection.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager with cybersecurity experience and a strong technical foundation to own major product areas across Kodem’s AppSec platform.\nYou’ll lead high-impact initiatives end-to-end - from strategy and roadmapping through technical exploration, execution, customer validation, rollout, and iteration.\nThis role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, software development, runtime environments, and AI. You’ll work closely with engineering, UX, security research, and customer-facing teams to turn complex security challenges into simple, scalable products.\nWe’re also looking for someone who is genuinely AI-native - someone who understands the evolving AI landscape and actively uses AI and agents to research, analyze, prototype, validate, and move faster.\nResponsibilities\nOwn major product areas from strategy and discovery through delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.\nDefine product vision, priorities, and multi-quarter roadmaps.\nDevelop a deep understanding of AppSec challenges, security workflows, development environments, and emerging threats.\nWork directly with customers - from AppSec and engineering teams to CISOs - to discover problems, validate solutions, and gather ongoing feedback.\nPartner with UX and engineering to turn complex technical concepts into intuitive product experiences.\nDrive alignment across R&D, UX, Sales, CSM, Support, and Marketing.\nDefine KPIs and product analytics to measure outcomes and guide prioritization.\nAnalyze the cybersecurity and competitive landscape to identify emerging opportunities.\nCreate clear PRDs, specifications, and product documentation.\nUse AI tools and agents throughout the product development process and explore opportunities for AI-powered and agentic product capabilities.\nServe as a product and domain expert and help strengthen product practices across the team.\nMust-Have Qualifications\n6+ years of product management experience building complex B2B technical products.\nProduct experience in cybersecurity or a closely related security domain.\nProven experience owning complex technical products end-to-end.\nStrong understanding of modern software development, SDLC, APIs, CLI, cloud and self-hosted environments, system architecture, logs, and developer workflows.\nPractical product experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments, including workloads, clusters, deployment models, and security implications.\nAbility to work deeply with engineers, architects, and security researchers and meaningfully contribute to technical discussions.\nStrong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution.\nProven customer discovery and validation experience with technical users and senior stakeholders.\nAbility to navigate ambiguity and turn complex problems into clear product direction.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nHigh ownership, curiosity, and a startup mindset.\nStrong understanding of modern AI technologies, including LLMs and AI agents, with hands-on experience using them in day-to-day product work.\nPreferred Qualifications\nDirect AppSec product experience, including SAST, SCA, vulnerability management, software supply-chain security, or runtime security.\nExperience with enterprise deployment models such as air-gapped, hybrid, multi-cloud, or large-scale self-hosted environments.\nDevelopment, engineering, or security research background.\nExperience delivering products to large enterprises or regulated environments.\nExperience designing and shipping AI-powered or agentic product
