Under the direction of the PM, the Assistant Project Manager is expected to take on any/all tasks in the quest to learn all he/she can about Off Site Constructed Equipment. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of industry experience. Must exercise considerable independent judgment and initiative in performing assigned duties. Must exercise tact and courtesy in contacts with clients, vendors, contractors and others. Stay abreast of all relevant construction and building codes, standards and regulations. The Assistant Project Manager will engage in all aspects of the project from turnover to Start Up.\nJob responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nTake minutes for all project meetings attended\nAssist in transition of projects from estimating to project management\nReview Bills of Materials to ensure accuracy (Piping, Panels, Structural Steel etc.)\nAssist with Material Take offs\nEstablish a good working relationship with Production Managers\nManage and assemble assigned project submittals\nManage submittal log track to the schedule\nAssist with schedule creation for all team deliverables (Touchplan) •Manage Operating & Maintenance manual process for assigned projects •Ensure EAS and subcontractor compliance with contract and project specifications\nEnsure turn over packages are assembled and submitted in a timely manner\nEnsure fabrication parts are released per schedule\nGenerate status reports and project updates as needed\nAssist in pricing and tracking change orders\nHelp PM establish all equipment lead times and identify critical path items •Help Maintain PCR under the direction of the Project Manager •Track engineering and drafting to facilitate deadlines\nHelp organize and review contract documents •Compile vendor quotes/submittals and review for comparison to scope and compliance with the specs\nOther job-related duties as may be assigned\nWHAT WILL CATCH OUR EYES:\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field (or 5+ year’s related experience).\nSignificant experience in HVAC, Piping and or Plumbing may be accepted in lieu of a degree.\nMust have knowledge of cost tracking\nMust have an understanding of construction contracts and change management.\nMust be computer proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Scheduling software such as Primavera, Bluebeam and Procore and ERP systems such as Viewpoint, CMIC Spectrum.(3-D Cad experience is a plus)\nMust have ability to work independently without direct supervision\nOSHA 10\nWilling to travel to various jobsites\nWilling to spend time both in office and on
