This role plays a critical part in coordinating field activities, maintaining project documentation, assisting with estimating, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\nThe Assistant Project Manager works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, field teams, and clients to help manage project planning, scheduling, purchasing, change orders, and documentation. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist with planning, organizing, and scheduling project activities\nSupport budgeting, purchasing control, profit projections, and change order processing\nMaintain accurate project documentation and file management\nCoordinate material requirements to ensure timely delivery to job sites\nAssist with project estimates and proposal preparation\nParticipate in job planning meetings, progress meetings, and site visits\nSupport development of project pre-qualification materials\nProvide administrative and office support as needed\nCommunicate project updates, issues, or changes to the Project Manager in a timely manner\nTravel to job sites or other company locations as required\nQualifications\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)\nAbility to learn and effectively use project management software\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities\nExperience maintaining confidential and detailed records\nTeam-oriented with professional communication skills\nEducation & Experience Preferred\nBachelor’s or Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field\nFour-year electrical apprenticeship graduate\nOR five (5) years of field-related experience in commercial/industrial electrical construction\nExtensive
