This role plays a key part in maintaining quality standards, managing documentation, coordinating materials, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.\nProject Engineers gain exposure to all phases of construction and are developed into future Project Managers, Estimators, and operational leaders.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide engineering and business support onsite for commercial mechanical construction projects\nReview and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents\nPrepare, submit, and track Requests for Information (RFIs)\nDevelop and manage submittals, O&M manuals, and project closeout documentation\nCoordinate equipment and material procurement with vendors and suppliers\nAssist in maintaining project schedules and supporting execution strategies\nCollaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, and field trades\nSupport cost tracking, documentation, and change management processes\nEnsure work performed onsite meets design intent and quality standards\nSuccess Metrics\nTimely and accurate RFI and submittal processing\nEffective coordination of materials and vendor schedules\nStrong field and office communication across stakeholders\nProjects delivered in alignment with schedule and quality expectations\nProfessional growth toward expanded project management responsibilities\nCandidate Persona - Who You Are\nYou are a motivated, analytical problem solver with a strong interest in commercial construction and mechanical systems.
