You will manage purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, track deliveries, monitor inventory, resolve discrepancies, and identify potential material shortages before they affect field operations.\nThe ideal candidate has experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, material planning, or vendor coordination within construction, industrial, manufacturing, or another fast-paced project environment. Previous data center or mission-critical construction experience is preferred but not required.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and maintain material forecasts by category, part, and vendor.\nDetermine purchasing requirements based on inventory levels, project needs, cost, and supplier lead times.\nCreate, update, and maintain accurate purchase orders.\nTrack shipments, material availability, and expected delivery dates.\nCoordinate material requirements with project management, field operations, and other project stakeholders.\nMonitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or purchasing risks.\nResearch and resolve purchase order, invoice, pricing, and receiving discrepancies.\nWork directly with vendors to address cost, quality, lead time, packaging, shortages, damaged materials, and shipping issues.\nTrack vendor credits related to shortages, damaged materials, and incorrect shipments.\nBuild and maintain productive, long-term supplier relationships.\nNegotiate pricing, payment terms, discounts, packaging, and shipping methods when appropriate.\nMaintain accurate supplier, vendor, and item records.\nCommunicate purchasing updates, delivery concerns, and material risks to project teams.\nCollaborate with internal departments to keep critical materials moving and support data center construction schedules.\nQualifications\nPrevious experience in purchasing, procurement, material coordination, inventory management, supply chain, or a related role.\nConstruction, industrial, manufacturing, data center, or mission-critical project experience is preferred.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.\nExperience creating and maintaining purchase orders.\nAbility to manage multiple vendors, orders, deliveries, and deadlines simultaneously.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.\nAbility to identify material or supplier issues before they affect construction schedules.\nBasic mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.\nAbility to learn new purchasing, inventory, and business systems.\nSelf-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.\nLocation and Schedule\nThis is an on-site position in Turkey, Texas, supporting an active data center construction project. Candidates should be prepared to work approximately 58 hours per week.\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.
