global tech teams\nYour Role\nAs a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our platform designing and scaling systems that power Kody’s products, from payment gateways and settlement systems to mobile POS integrations and financial service APIs.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain backend services and APIs (REST/gRPC)\nContribute to backend architecture and ensure system reliability and scalability\nDebug, troubleshoot, and optimise performance in production systems\nCollaborate with product, QA, and frontend teams to deliver robust, maintainable solutions\nWrite clean, efficient, and well-tested code\nStay current with modern backend and cloud technologies\nRequirements\n5+ years of experience in backend software development (Kotlin or Java)\nStrong understanding of microservices, cloud deployment (AWS/GCP), and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)\nProficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis)\nFamiliar with Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven systems (Kafka)\nSolid understanding of APIs (REST, gRPC) and version control (GitHub)\nFamiliarity with agile development processes\nFluent in English (Mandarin or
