We are looking for an intellectually curious, technically solid Data Scientist to make sense of our complex data and drive high-impact commercial decisions.\nYou will act as the core quantitative engine for the team-diving into payment success rates, merchant transaction funnels, and revenue metrics. You won't just pull numbers; you will be responsible for understanding the underlying business mechanics, transforming raw, messy data into actionable insights, and building intuitive, scalable dashboards in Google Looker and Power BI.\nKey Responsibilities\nDeep-Dive Data Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze high-volume payment transaction and merchant data to uncover operational bottlenecks, drop-offs, and growth opportunities.\nBI Architecture & Dashboarding: Design, build, and maintain production-quality dashboards and semantic models in Google Looker (LookML) and Power BI, ensuring metrics are automated, consistent, and intuitive for business stakeholders.\nCore Metrics Definition: Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Product teams to define, standardize, and monitor key business KPIs across regional markets.\nData Modeling & Validation: Write robust, optimized SQL queries and Python scripts to aggregate complex datasets, verifying data accuracy and consistency before reporting to leadership.\nAd-Hoc Strategic Projects: Deliver fast, data-backed answers to ad-hoc business questions, supporting senior management with scenario analysis and performance forecasting.\nRequirements\nStrong Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier university in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, or related quantitative disciplines.\n Exceptional SQL Proficiency: Advanced SQL capabilities (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization) with demonstrated experience querying massive, multi-table databases.\n Hands-on Python / R: Practical experience with Python (pandas, NumPy) or R for exploratory data analysis, data wrangling, and statistical evaluation.\nProficiency in Modern BI Tools: Proven hands-on track record with Google Looker (knowledge of LookML is a strong plus) and/or Power BI / Tableau;
