In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining mechanical components and production equipment used in tobacco manufacturing. This role supports efficient, high-quality production operations while ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.\nYour role in our team\nYou will assemble, align, and install mechanical components, subassemblies, and production parts for tobacco-processing and packaging equipment\nPerform routine mechanical adjustments, calibrations, and preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently\nRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions\nUse hand tools, power tools, precision measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment to complete accurate assemblies\nYou will inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, quality, and adherence to company specifications\nCollaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production teams to resolve mechanical issues and support continuous improvement efforts\nMaintain clear and accurate documentation of assembly work, inspections, and maintenance activities\nYou will follow all company safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and tobacco-industry regulations\nKeep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety and quality standards\nParticipate in required training and cross-training to support operational flexibility\nManage logistics for plant tours, vendor visits, and customer visits\nYour profile\nYou have a high school diploma or GED; your technical training is preferred\n1-3 years of mechanical assembly or maintenance experience in manufacturing\nProficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices\nStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills\nExperience reading blueprints and technical documents\nCan you find yourself in this profile?
