SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Design, document, and evaluate packaging applications for new and existing Kitchen and Bath core products, incorporating technology, efficiency, and creativity. Provide engineering support for product packaging from concept through production/distribution, to final installation and/or destination.\nIncorporate quality practices with focus on corporate, divisional, and departmental strategies and goals. Facilitate engineering innovation in daily activities and challenges. Perform total cost benefit analysis and finalize annualized savings for given projects.\nDevelop alternative design concept prototypes and CAD drawings using design software. Coordinate the development and verification testing of alternative designs. Create/update BOMs, submit engineering change requests and release the revised designs in Windchill and SAP.\nWork with cross functional teams to ensure packaging changes are compliant with regional/global packaging regulations, operations processes, internal packaging standards, sustainability goals, and customer requirements.
