If you thrive in environments that value clarity, ownership, and bold thinking, you’ll fit right in.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for a Junior Designer to join our team, working remotely from anywhere in Canada.\nIn this role, you’ll support the execution of compelling brand design and advertising communications across static and motion-based mediums. You’re a creative designer with a strong foundation in brand systems, visual storytelling, and executional craft-comfortable translating complex ideas into engaging visuals and layouts. You bring a strong eye for detail, a passion for evolving brands, and the ability to think holistically across touchpoints.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and execute compelling creative for brand campaigns and always-on channels, including social, dotcom, email, display advertising, and motion.\n\nSupport creative studio members with production design across creative versioning, copy updates, translation versioning, and other production-oriented design tasks, with a primary focus on static or digital formats. Motion experience is welcome.\n\nUphold high standards of craft, design excellence, and mistake-free production assets at all required sizes and formats across marketing channels.\n\nHelp uphold KOHO’s brand identity, ensuring consistency, clarity, and craft across all touchpoints.\n\nStay ahead of brand and motion design trends, applying best practices to keep KOHO’s brand fresh, expressive, and relevant.\n\nExplore and integrate AI tools, design and motion systems to improve efficiency, experimentation, and creative output.\n\nContinuously experiment with new tools, techniques, and workflows to elevate craft and scale creative impact.\n\nHelp evolve a collaborative, feedback-driven design culture that encourages knowledge sharing and alignment.\n\nRequirements\n1+ years of experience in brand design and/or marketing design, ideally within fintech, tech, or consumer brands\n\nBachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in design\n\nStrong portfolio demonstrating brand systems thinking, visual craft, attention to detail, and fundamentals\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\n\nProficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, email building tools & AI Tools (such as Flora, Weavy, Midjourney, etc..)\n\nA growing understanding of motion principles and systems (timing, easing, transitions)\n\nThe budgeted salary range for this role is $70,000-80,000 CAD / year.\nAt KOHO, we are dedicated to providing pay transparency to all candidates.
