With over $2.8 billion in annual sales and a commitment to its workforce, Kokosing is the winning team.\nJob Description:\nPlan, design, and review temporary construction engineering schemes - bridge erection, demolition, shoring, and falsework, etc.\nWork with construction operations teams to conceptualize and develop means, methods and construction plans.\nCoordinate various project schedules to manage needs of completed engineered submittals.\nUnderstand varying contract and safety requirements to develop plans safely and in accordance with owner specifications.\nManage third-party reviews and complete execution of construction engineering submittals.\nReview project documents with construction estimating staff to develop pre-bid means and methods.\nRepresent company during client and project management meetings.\nInterface with project team as required to help resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project.\nPerform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.\n Knowledge Requirements / Skills\n3+ Years experience in design and construction engineering roles involving bridge/highway projects, specifically temporary construction works (shoring, erection, demolition etc.)\nRegistered Ohio and/or West Virginia Professional Engineer, or the ability to obtain\nBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Degree is preferred. \nProficiency in Microsoft office and AutoCAD programs.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to coordinate with estimating and operations staff.\nBenefits\nKokosing Construction offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, life, and disability insurance, paid time off and a 401K plan.\nKokosing is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action federal and state contractor.
