The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic mindset. The Project Executive will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to all regulatory requirements.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nLead and manage one or more heavy highway construction projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.\nOversee the development of project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.\nMonitor project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis. Ensure projects are executed within financial parameters.\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships to facilitate project success.\nProvide leadership and direction to project managers, engineers, superintendents and site personnel. Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and accountability, work closely with senior management and operational leaders to identify and deliver opportunities for the development and growth of all team members under their supervision. \nIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with project execution. Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure project continuity.\nOversee contract negotiations, administration, and compliance. Ensure all contractual obligations are met and manage any disputes that may arise.\nEnsure that all projects adhere to company quality standards and comply with all applicable regulations, codes, and specifications.\nChampion a culture of safety on all projects. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols, and promote continuous improvement in safety practices.\nOptimize the use of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to maximize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.\nProvide regular updates to senior management on project status, including progress reports, financial performance, and risk assessments. Prepare and present detailed project reports as required.\nSupport business development efforts by identifying new project opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations.\nEducation and Experience:\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in heavy highway construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership or executive role. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects.\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.\nSkills and abilities:\nStrong leadership and decision-making abilities.\nExtensive knowledge of heavy highway construction methods, materials, and equipment.\nExcellent financial acumen and experience in managing multimillion-dollar budgets.\nStrong negotiation and contract management skills.\nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.\nProficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite.\nExpected annual salary range for this positions is: $175,000 - 215,000, salary is open for conversation.\nThis compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Kokosing at the time of the posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
