With over $2.8 billion in annual sales and a commitment to its workforce, Kokosing is the winning team.\nJob Description:\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nProvide support to equipment manager and mechanics for the maintenance of company equipment\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nManage inventory\nPull requested parts from inventory and re-order when necessary\nExpedite shipping and receiving\nNegotiate with vendors and suppliers\nRecord and maintain parts and maintenance history\nIdentify and order all parts and materials required for mechanics\nEnter all oil capacities on new equipment into Viewpoint EM Equipment Parts tab\nKeep all equipment updated on service schedule including setting up new equipment\nCommunicate with lube techs, mechanics, and master mechanics\nInform Equipment Manager of any abnormal oil samples\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required\n3-5+ years of parts and/or equipment maintenance experience\nEquipment knowledge preferred \nBackground in auto mechanics, or heavy equipment mechanics is aPLUS\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong sense of urgency\nAbility to meet strict deadlines\nAbility to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company\nAbility to work under pressure and multi-task.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality\nAble to work independently and as part of a team\nProblem solver; can-do attitude\nMust be able to lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds.\nMust be able to climb on and under equipment to locate part numbers.\nMust be able to look up parts applications by manuals, catalogs or web based systems.\nUtilize company software (Viewpoint)\nProficient in Microsoft Office, on computers and other electronic devices\nMust be able to work in a high pace and safe environment\nPlease note: this job description is intended as a general summary of the position; however, the individual will be expected to perform any functions or responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
