With over $2.8 billion in annual sales and a commitment to its workforce, Kokosing is the winning team.\nJob Description:\nWe are seeking a Project Manager (Roadway/Bridge projects) in the Baltimore / Washington DC metro area.\nSUMMARY\nPlans, directs, and coordinates activities of heavy highway/bridge construction projects.\n\nEnsures that project goals are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.\n\nManages Project Engineers, Superintendents and Foremen who supervise construction employees; charged with overall direction, coordination and evaluation of team.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nReviews project proposal or plan to determine the time frame, funding limitations, project procedures, staffing requirements, and available resources to various phases of project.\n\nEstablishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project - arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.\n\nConfers with project staff to outline work plan, assign duties/responsibilitiesand authority.\n\nDirects and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure work progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.\n\nReviews status reports from project personnel and modifies schedules/plans as needed.\n\nPrepares project reports for management, client, or others.\n\nConfers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.\n\nCoordinates project activities with activities of governmental agencies and subcontractors.\n\nUnderstands and is able to analyze and execute CPM-based project schedules.\n\nOther tasks and duties as assigned.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupervisory responsibilities, in accordance with policies and applicable laws, include: interviewing/hiring; training; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding/disciplining;addressing complaints/resolving problems.\n\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE\nCivil Engineering or Construction Management or related degree\n\n10+ years related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination) is preferred.\n\nBENEFITS\nKokosing offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, life, and disability insurance, paid time off and a 401K plan.\nExpected annual salary range for this position is:$100,000-$150,000 but is negotiable.\nThis compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
