With over $2.8 billion in annual sales and a commitment to its workforce, Kokosing is the winning team.\n Job Description:\nPOSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting project site equipment maintenance through efficient parts management, inventory control, shipping and receiving activities, and transportation. \nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide parts support to the field mechanic and job site\nManage parts inventory and maintain accurate inventory records at the job site.\nPull requested parts from inventory and issue parts to mechanics and project teams.\nReceive, inspect, unload and stock incoming parts, materials, and supplies\nCoordinate and expediate shipping and receiving activities to meet project and maintenance schedules.\nSafely operate a company vehicle/truck to transport parts between company locations, project sites, and vendor facilities as needed.\nCommunicate with vendors, mechanics, project personnel, and internal customers regarding parts availability and delivery timelines.\nKeep work area clean and presentable\nAnswer and make phone calls that deal with parts orders\nInform Parts Manager of any parts issues\nundefined\n\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required\n5+ years of parts and/or equipment knowledge\nEquipment knowledge preferred\nundefined\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong sense of urgency\nAbility to meet strict deadlines\nAbility to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company\nAbility to work under pressure and multi-task.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality\nAble to work independently and as part of a team\nProblem solver; can-do attitude\nMust be able to lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds.\nMust be able to climb on and under equipment to locate part numbers.\nMust be able to look up parts applications by manuals, catalogs or web based systems.\nUtilize company software (Viewpoint)\nProficient in Microsoft Office, on computers and other electronic devices\nMust be able to work in a high pace and safe environment\nundefined\n\n Relationships: Reports to Parts Department Manager Please note: this job description is intended as a general summary of the position; however, the individual will be expected to perform any functions or responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
