With over $2.8 billion in annual sales and a commitment to its workforce, Kokosing is the winning team.\nJob Description:\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nProject Based QC Manager responsible to plan, direct, supervise, and implement project quality control activities in compliance with applicable company standards and programs. This role will be sitting onsite in Piketon, OH.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPrepare quality control procedures (work controlling documents) and review other department procedures for compliance and/or correctness. \nPrepare, obtain approval, issue and implement company quality control (assurance) program manual in compliance with owner contract and company requirements. \nAs required by quality control program manual, perform activities such as audits, preparation of quality problems, etc. \nProvide administrative and technical direction to all quality control personnel \nAct as liaison with owner, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and/or internal departments on quality related matters as required. \nEnsure company standards as outlined in quality control (assurance) manual are effectively implemented. \nInsure adequate corrective measures are implemented in case on noncompliance. \nAssist in preparation of responses to RFQ’s and RFP’s regarding QA and QC programs. \nPerform internal/external audits to ensure quality control requirements are implemented and/or maintained. \nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nPossess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.\n4+ years of related/ applicable experience in quality control\nKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nThorough working knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance/quality control activities. \nExcellent verbal/written communication skills required. \nDemonstrated leadership, communication and strong interpersonal skills are requisite. \nAbility to work independently or as a member of a team. \nStrong work ethic to complete tasks in a high-quality manner. \nSolid attention to detail with the ability to be a problem solver. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite\nRELATIONSHIPS:\nReports to the director of Central Engineer and Quality Management and closely interacts with all levels of team members within the organization.\nWORKING CONDIDITIONS:\nRole will be site based, working on an active construction site. 70% of duties are performed in a temperature controlled, fluorescent-light environment, 30% of duties are performed in the field.
