The ultimate objective is to identify and get to know hardworking, client-service-focused law students who can fill our entry-level hiring needs.\nWe hire first-year law students at very competitive salaries to participate in our Summer Associate Program. This program involves three rotations during a 12-week period each summer, which provides the opportunity to gain exposure to several practice areas. We strive to provide real “hands-on” experiences such as attending a court hearing, a trial, a deposition, the closing of a transaction, and client meetings, in addition to legal research and writing projects.\nKoley Jessen’s summer associates will be matched up with a mentor who will be a resource for them throughout the program and will be a part of training sessions aimed at providing them with practical examples and experiences. They will also receive feedback on their work as they cycle through the various rotations.
