When you join our organization, you are connecting to a committed and caring group of colleagues.\nWe are currently in search of an experienced Van Driver for our Brooklyn Park, MD location. The Van Driver at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all of its subsidiaries (\"Kolmac\" or the \"Company\") is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation for clients receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment services. This role ensures clients are transported to and from treatment programs, medical appointments, and other approved locations while maintaining a supportive, respectful, and professional environment. The driver also assists in maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: \nMonday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm\nSafely transport clients to and from treatment programs, medical appointments, and approved community locations.\nOperate 12-15 passenger vans in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and state safety regulations when applicable.\nMaintain adherence to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and organizational transportation policies.\nEnsure timely pick-up and drop-off schedules while maintaining flexibility for program needs.\nConduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts and report maintenance issues promptly.\nAlways maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.\nDocument transportation activities, including mileage, passenger logs, and incident reports.\nProvide respectful and supportive interaction with clients in accordance with trauma-informed care principles.\nCommunicate any client concerns, behavioral issues, or safety concerns to the appropriate staff.\nFollow confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations regarding client information.\nAssist staff with basic client support during transport as needed.\nParticipate in required training, including safety and behavioral health awareness.\nEnsure proper seatbelt use and passenger safety protocols at all times.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications - Education and Experience: \nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record.\nAbility to pass background check, drug screening, and driving record verification.\nPrevious experience driving passenger vans or working in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred.\nCPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)\nExpected Travel 30% within the state or District to promote the awareness of Kolmac/CCG and provide training to the community.\nThe pay for this position is $18-$20 per hour.
