helping clients scale and strengthen their tech teams.\nThe Project\nWe are seeking a QA Engineer to work on a technology project.\nYou will have the following responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases to validate functional and non-functional requirements;\n\nBuild and maintain robust test automation frameworks for UI (Selenium) and API (Newman) testing;\n\nPlan and execute performance tests, including load and stress testing, based on non-functional requirements using JMeter;\n\nAnalyse performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders;\n\nCollaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure early defect detection and continuous quality throughout the delivery lifecycle;\n\nApply AI-driven testing techniques - such as test case generation, optimization, and defect prediction - to improve coverage and efficiency;\n\nManage defect reporting and ensure full requirements traceability and test documentation.\n\nYou need to have the following skills/experience:\nStrong hands-on experience with JMeter for performance testing (mandatory);\n\nProven experience designing and executing automation frameworks, including UI (Selenium) and API (Newman) testing;\n\nSolid background in functional, regression, and exploratory testing;\n\nExperience applying AI-assisted testing techniques and tools to enhance test efficiency and coverage;\n\nAbility to design performance tests based on non-functional requirements (load, stress, and scalability);\n\nStrong skills in defect management, test documentation, and requirements analysis;\n\nISTQB Certification or equivalent quality assurance certification;\n\nBachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's + Master's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience;\n\nEnglish proficiency at B2 level or above.\n\nLocation\nLisbon, Porto, Braga, or Coimbra (Hybrid -
