helping clients scale and strengthen their tech teams.\nThe Project\nWe are seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to work on a Tech project.\nYou will have the following responsibilities:\nDesign and implement high-performance microservices using .NET 8, with a focus on scalability and clean architecture;\n\nBuild and refine asynchronous, event-driven workflows using AWS SNS/SQS, ensuring data consistency and system resilience;\n\nLead the technical integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into core applications, bridging .NET backends with Python-based AI logic;\n\nCollaborate on the design and development of high-throughput data pipelines using AWS Data Firehose and Data Streams for real-time processing;\n\nUphold high code quality standards through unit and integration testing using xUnit and WireMock;\n\nWork closely with SRE teams to deploy services via GitHub Actions and manage cloud infrastructure through Terraform;\n\nLeverage AI-assisted tooling such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate delivery while maintaining rigorous oversight of code security and efficiency.\n\nYou need to have the following skills/experience:\nDeep expertise in C# and .NET Core / .NET 8, including strong knowledge of the framework's internals;\n\nHands-on experience building cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services, including SNS, SQS, S3, and ECS;\n\nStrong understanding of Event-Driven Architecture and distributed systems patterns such as Pub/Sub, Competing Consumers, and Idempotency;\n\nProven experience with Redis or Valkey for caching, state management, and performance optimization;\n\nExperience or demonstrable interest in working with LLMs and Python, including RAG systems or OpenAI/Anthropic API integrations;\n\nA test-first mindset with solid experience in unit and integration testing practices;\n\nFamiliarity with DevOps tooling including Docker, GitHub Actions, and Terraform;\n\nEnglish proficiency at B2 level or above, with confidence communicating and collaborating in a fully English-speaking work environment.\n\nLocation\nLisbon, Porto, Braga, or Coimbra (Hybrid -
