Through more effective People Flow®, we make people’s journeys safe, convenient and reliable, in taller, smarter buildings.\nWhy this role?\nKONE India is embarking upon an exciting growth phase and this represents an opportunity for you to join our Chennai HO KONE India, asAssistant Manager - Indirect Procurement.\nWhat will you be doing?\nResponsible for the Sourcing and Procurement of Indirect Category Products/Services as per business need.\nReporting directly to India Procurement manager and dotted line to Area Category Manager\nCreate and manage RFx for materials/services according to category or unit plans.\nCreate should cost models where needed and Benchmarking of prices / norms\nLead supplier negotiations, formulating Terms & conditions of ordering.\nPre-tender price/norm finalization/submission and creation of Source List / Costing Manual for all the products/services\nPre-budget pricing/Lead Time/ Norm signoff with price validity for all the products during budget for next year for NBS, Service Business, Professional Services, IT, Marketing,etc\nLiaising with the Stake Holders for the procurement alignment for the On-Time procurement of Products/ Services at optimal prices lesser than the budget\nEnsuring timely procurement and delivery of Procuts/Services as per the agreed timelines\nExecute global, regional and local supplier agreements.\nSupplier Contract and Performance Monitoring and Management for the category\nPlanning, steering, and developing supplier relationships on continual basis.\nAct as central contact point and contract owner for the category suppliers.\nManage Supplier requirements & resolving issues to honor the commitments to Suppliers.\nKeep agreements/price lists updated and feed data into operational purchasing systems (e.g.\nSAP-Following KW master data processes\nKSMP-Source Plan uploading with Saving Project creation for each network/Job\nMaintain contract validity and manage re-negotiation as needed and in alignment with category and Sourcing strategy.\nFollow-up supplier KPIs and support measurement where needed.\nFollow-up supplier related risks, define mitigation actions and monitor implementation.\nArrange and conduct regular steering meetings with suppliers following standard agenda for continual improvements.\nManage and drive resolution of supplier issues and escalate with stakeholders and management if needed.\nInvolve other functions in issue resolution and supplier development as needed.\nSteer supplier segmentation regularly by performance evaluation and category plans.\nUpdate or trigger updating of relevant data in IT systems (KONE SPD, Cost models).\nManage savings actions with supplier viz a viz our Saving Targets.\nSteering Custom clearance activities for materials being imported.\nAre you the one?\nMinimum 5+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement with relevant education.\nWhat do we offer?\nCareer progression opportunities within a global organization.\nTotal reward elements that engage and motivate our employees and help us make KONE a great place to work.\nComprehensive learning and development programs covering a wide range of professional skills.\nAt KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
