for P2P, and O2C processes - to the extent it impacts the Balance Sheet.\nEnsure subledgers reconcile accurately to the General Ledger\nIdentify and resolve accounting discrepancies, process gaps, and reporting risks\nDrive a strong “zero-surprise” controllership environment\nAudit, Controls & Compliance\nLead external and internal audit activities for US entities\nMaintain strong internal controls across financial reporting and accounting operations\nEnsure audit readiness, compliance, and appropriate supporting documentation\nMonitor and remediate control gaps, compliance risks, and process deficiencies\nShared Services & Process Improvement\nPartner with Shared Services and global finance teams to ensure high-quality execution of accounting and reporting activities\nDrive automation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives across finance operations\nSupport finance transformation and systems enhancement initiatives\nLead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team\nBuild strong partnerships across Finance, HR, Tax, Treasury, Operations, and Corporate teams\nProvide financial insight and accounting expertise to support business decisions and operational performance\nCash Flow, Treasury & Working Capital Oversight\nPartner with Treasury and business leaders to support liquidity management and cash flow optimization\nOversee cash-related accounting activities, bank reconciliations, and treasury-related balance sheet accounts\nSupport working capital governance including oversight of AR aging, AP balances, unapplied cash, and intercompany settlements\nEnsure financial impacts of foreign exchange and hedge accounting activities are appropriately reflected where applicable\nPayroll Accounting & Employee Cost Governance\nOversee all payroll accounting activities across salary, field, and hourly payroll environments\nEnsure accurate accounting and reporting for wages, incentives, commissions, bonus accruals, stock compensation, benefits, and related employee costs\nEnsure payroll-related balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and supported\nPartner closely with Payroll, HR, Treasury, Tax, and Shared Services teams to resolve accounting issues and improve payroll accounting processes\nSupport payroll-related audits, compliance requirements, and reporting obligations\nDrive process automation and operational improvements across payroll accounting activities\nQualifications & Experience\nExperience\n10+ years of progressive accounting, controllership, audit, or finance operations experience\nExperience leading teams within a multinational or large corporate environment\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance\nCPA or equivalent professional designation preferred\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of:IFRS and financial reporting principles\nGeneral Ledger and financial close processes\nBalance sheet reconciliations and controls\nFinancial statement analysis and reporting\n\nExperience with SAP or similar ERP systems required\nExperience with financial reporting and reconciliation tools (e.g., SAP BPC, Blackline) preferred\nAdvanced Excel and analytical skills required\nExperience with Power BI, Alteryx, or Power Automate is a plus\nProfessional Capabilities\nStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving ability\nA \"Change Agent\" mindset-the ability to influence peers in a matrixed global organization\nAbility to simplify complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders.\nStrong ownership mindset and attention to detail\nAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment\nContinuous improvement and process optimization mindset\nAbout KONE\nAt KONE, we foster an innovative and collaborative culture, valuing each individual's contribution.
