We work closely with global development teams and other KONE manufacturing units to develop and implement best practices for KONE manufacturing.\nIndustrial engineer maintains and develops production methods and runs development projects to improve production methods for better flow, productivity, safety, quality and overall performance.\nIn this role you will identify improvement opportunities through analyzing manufacturing data and further develop our capabilities for data-driven operations management.\nWork will require knowledge/interest to growth for digitalization, manufacturing strategy and work optimization from the traditional manufacturing.\nThis role is located in Hyvinkää.\nThe key responsibilities:\nAnalyze and develop manufacturing processes to drive and follow up manufacturing targets (Safety, Delivery, Quality, Productivity, Cost) and actions on unit level. \nDesign FLOW standards by using LEAN methodology, define production methods, technology, factory layout, line level layout, material replenishment and material utilization. \nConduct studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations workflow and recommends methods and technology for optimal performance. \nDrive digitalization in shop floor and factory processes. \nExecute Manufacturing development and CAPEX projects in line with global manufacturing strategy and project development portfolio. \nSupport Daily Management in the factory, evaluate data, identify technical issues, drive problem solving by preparing reports and analyzing production data. \nRequirements:\nA master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar engineering field. \n+5 years of previous experience as a manufacturing/development engineer or similar position. \nGood knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and LEAN manufacturing \nFamiliarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques. \nAbility to execute projects on time and on budget. \nStrong project management skills are required to succeed in this role. \nCan-do attitude and solid people communication and collaboration skills. \nAbility to do problem solving, and co-creation with partners. \nCommitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations \nSoftware skills like: CAD, Power BI and Visual Components are an asset. \nWant to #JoinOurFlow ?\nIf you think this could be an inspiring challenge for you, please tell us more about yourself and why you are interested in this specific role and submit your CV and application via our Careers site at the latest October 16th.\nFor further information about the position, please contact hiring manager, Manufacturing Solution & Maintenance Manager Eetu Cowell via email .\nAt KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
