Acting as the key KONE representative on site, you will build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.\nResponsibilities and Key Activities\n This role includes a wide range of responsibilities across site management, customer engagement and team leadership.\nSite Supervision Process\nAccountable for the successful delivery of installation projects.\nChampion a strong safety culture, ensuring site safety with a zero-accident mindset.\nEnsure effective management of environmental aspects of the installation, including waste handling, hazardous materials and minimising unnecessary travel.\nAccountable for the financial performance of assigned projects.\nPlan and coordinate the delivery, storage and availability of materials, tools and equipment on site.\nArrange orders with subcontractors and non-KONE material suppliers where required.\nManage site preparations and monitor site readiness.\nPrepare and maintain installation documentation, including drawings, technical specifications, programmes of work, site safety information and project records.\nOversee daily planning activities and administration of permits to work.\nEnsure correct KONE installation methods, processes and tooling are followed at all times.\nManage project administration activities, including timesheet approvals, absence management and progress reporting.\nMonitor and report project performance, including schedules, installation hours, budgets and project risks.\nMaintain accurate project documentation throughout the installation phase.\nLead final testing activities and support the successful handover to maintenance.\nEnsure projects are completed to the highest quality standards, delivering zero defects wherever possible. \nCustomer and Sub-contractor Relationship Management\nDrive customer satisfaction through excellent project execution and communication.\nEnsure subcontractors meet KONE's safety, quality and performance standards.\nDevelop and maintain professional working relationships with subcontractors and key stakeholders.\nAct as the primary site contact for customers and project partners.\nPeople Management and Leadership\nLead, coach and develop site teams, supporting both performance and wellbeing.\nSet clear objectives and expectations for installation teams.\nOrganise, communicate and coordinate work activities effectively.\nMotivate teams to achieve project goals and maintain high performance standards.\nFoster a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.\n\n Skills and Experience\nTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:\nPrevious experience within the construction, elevator or escalator industry.\nProven leadership experience, including managing site-based teams.\nStrong technical understanding and problem-solving abilities.\nCommercial awareness and an understanding of project financial performance.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.\nThe ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced project environment.\nGood written and spoken English.\nEssential and Preferred Qualifications\nCSCS Black Manager Card or Gold Manager Card.\nSMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).\nSEATS (Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme), preferred\nTemporary Works Supervisor Training (TWSTC/TWSTS), preferred\nWhat We Offer\nAt KONE, you'll have the opportunity to work on some of the UK's most exciting and high-profile projects while developing your career within a global organisation.\nBenefits include:\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, \nCompany pension scheme,\nAnnual bonus scheme\nPrivate medical insurance\nLife assurance\nEmployee Assistance Programme\nCycle to Work Scheme\nTravel allowance\nProfessional development and career progression opportunities\nAbout KONE\nAt KONE, we are committed to improving the flow of urban life.
