Strategy & Transformation develops KONE’s strategy and operating model and is responsible for driving large strategic transformations across the company.\nWe\nare looking for a highly motivated\nManager, Mergers & Acquisitions\nto join our dynamic M&A team within KONE Strategy & Transformation.\nIn this role, you will contribute to the execution of M&A transactions and support integration activities across the deal lifecycle. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and Frontline M&A teams, helping to coordinate cross-functional workstreams, support transaction execution, and drive high-quality decision-making through financial and strategic analysis. You will also contribute to the continuous development of KONE’s M&A processes, tools, and reporting.\nThe location for this role is preferably Espoo, Finland, but the position can be based in any major KONE country in Europe.\nThis role reports to Tuikku Alaviitala, Senior Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategy & Transformation.\nKey Responsibilities\nDrive cross-functional project delivery across transaction and integration activities.\nManage project execution and coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of key milestones.\nTake ownership of specific workstreams and deliverables within M&A projects.\nDevelop business cases, financial models, and valuation analyses; conduct financial analysis of potential acquisition targets.\nCoordinate due diligence activities with legal, finance, tax, HR, and other internal and external stakeholders.\nSupport deal execution activities, including preparation of materials, analyses, and recommendations for decision makers and executive leadership.\nContribute to transaction negotiations and documentation processes.\nSupport integration planning and help monitor the performance and value creation of acquired businesses.\nCoordinate collaboration between internal and external teams in an international environment.\nContribute to the continuous development of KONE’s M&A capabilities, processes, and reporting.\nRequirements for the Role\nRelevant university degree (e.g. M.Sc. in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent).\nMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, transaction advisory, strategy consulting, or other project-based roles involving complex cross-functional environments.\nStrong financial acumen with the ability to interpret financial statements, assess value drivers, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.\nExperience supporting M&A transactions, integrations, or other strategic projects.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and collaboration skills.\nAbility to take initiative, drive workstreams, and deliver results in a fast-paced international environment.\nStrong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.\nFlexibility and willingness to adapt to transaction-driven timelines when required.\nWhy Join Us?\nM&A is a unique environment where every transaction brings new challenges and learning opportunities.
