You will contribute to the design, review, and implementation of modernization solutions while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements. Your mission is to support profitable business results through quality engineering, technical expertise, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.\nYou will bring 1-3 years of professional engineering experience (relevant internships considered) to KONE. You will utilize the knowledge gained through your Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an accredited university.\nOther Listed Duties\nDesign and develop standard mechanical modernization solutions, drawings, and engineering packages using CAD software.\nReview modernization projects to ensure technical compliance with project specifications, codes, safety regulations, and customer requirements.\nPerform engineering analyses and calculations related to component design, structural integrity, and mechanical system performance.\nCollaborate with project managers, sales teams, manufacturing, purchasing, and vendors to support project execution and special design requirements.\nGenerate bills of material, technical documentation, and compatibility reviews while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and field installations as needed.\nHiring requirements\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an accredited university.\n1-3 years of engineering experience (relevant internship experience will be considered).\nProficiency with CAD software and the ability to read, interpret, and create engineering, construction, and architectural drawings.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering standards, and technical design principles, with the ability to learn elevator products and code requirements.\nAbout KONE\nAt KONE, we foster an innovative and collaborative culture, valuing each individual's contribution.
