This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of payroll services across KANZ.\nThis person will lead and develop our payroll team, strengthen payroll governance and controls, manage complex payroll matters and drive improvements to our systems, processes and overall service delivery.\nWhat will you be doing?\nLead end-to-end payroll delivery across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accurate and timely pay, strong reconciliations, data integrity and effective payroll controls.\nLead and develop a high-performing payroll team, creating clear accountability, strong service standards and effective management of complex payroll issues and escalations.\nOwn payroll compliance, governance and risk, ensuring legislative and regulatory requirements are met, audits are effectively managed and robust controls are maintained across the payroll lifecycle.\nDrive payroll transformation and continuous improvement, leveraging technology, automation and data while partnering with People & Communications, Finance, Legal and business leaders to improve efficiency, controls and the employee experience.\nAre you the one?\n5+ years experience leading a payroll team in a complex Australian environment.\nExperience managing payroll in New Zealand is an advantage.\nSound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, modern awards, PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and leave entitlements.\nProven ability to lead and develop a payroll team in a complex, multi-site environment.\nDemonstrated expertise in payroll governance, compliance, audit management, systems optimisation, and continuous process improvement.\nStrong analytical, stakeholder management and customer-service skills, balancing attention to detail with broader functional leadership.\nExperience working in a large or multinational organisation is highly regarded.\nExperience using Definitiv or a similar contemporary payroll platform is advantageous.\nWhat do we offer?\nCareer progression opportunities in a global organisation.\nAccess to world-class learning and development programs.\nA supportive, high-performing team environment.\nA total rewards package designed to recognise and motivate.\nFree parking and gym on-site.\nNote: Applicants must either be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia or be a citizen of New Zealand to apply for this position.\nThis role is being sourced directly by KONE.
