Designing, optimizing, standardizing, and governing procurement processes across the organization. This role ensures purchasing activities are efficient, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with company objectives. The manager drives continuous improvement initiatives, supports digital procurement transformation, manages procurement policies and procedures, and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance end-to-end purchasing performance. The purpose of this role is to ensure quality and competitiveness of KONE solutions to maximize the value of KONE Customers.\nThis role reports to China DM Purchasing Director.\nMain responsibilities:\nProject Purchasing Management:\nLead and manage all project-related procurement activities, including Major Projects, Modernization (MOD), special projects and other non-standard requirements within DM purchasing scope.\nPartner closely with Frontline, Supply Chain, KTI, and suppliers to ensure project delivery, cost competitiveness, quality and on project timing.\nResponsible for BoM cost, sourcing strategy, supplier selection, and contract management for project procurement activities.\nActing as project manager inside of purchasing organization, to identify and mitigate supply, quality, capacity and commercial risks throughout project execution.\nData/Performance Governance\nAct as the data governance owner of the department, ensuring transparency, compliance and effectiveness across procurement activities.\nMaintain department-level KPI management, purchasing dashboards and performance reporting mechanisms, providing actionable insights for management decision-making covering key purchasing projects, savings initiatives, supplier performance reviews and strategic activities.\nAct as coordinator of internal controls to ensure purchasing processes, policies and controls are consistently implemented and followed across the organization.\nLead Process & Digitalization optimization\nAnalyze procurement workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve data quality and increase process automation.\nLead continuous improvement of purchasing processes, tools and digital platforms to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.\nEstablish and monitor process controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.\nSkills and Qualifications:\n1)10+ years in Sourcing skills and experience\n2)Knowledge and previous experience in elevator/escalator business is preferred\n3)Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Engineering or Supply Chain Management\n4)Good negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills\n5)Customer oriented, self-motivated and ownership, teamwork, resourceful and logical in problem solving\n6)Relevant supply chain and sourcing project management skills\n7)Analytical and strategic thinking, change management skills\n8)High energy/integrity\n9)Ability and willingness to travel\n10)Excellent level of English is mandatory\nAt KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
