Collaborating with industry experts, you will drive design excellence to ensure the highest standards of compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction.\nIf you are Design Practitioner or meettheminimumrequirements to begin the certification process - we would love to hear from you.\nWhat will you be doing?\nWork closely with building practitioners, Principal Design Practitioners, and Certifiers to ensure construction activities align with approved designs and regulatory requirements.\n\nPrepare and verify regulated designs and issue Design Compliance Declarations (DCDs) under the NSW Design and Building Practitioners (DBP) Act.\n\nSupport the sales and operations teams.\n\nCollaborate with regional and global stakeholders, providing insights and feedback to drive continuous improvement and enhance frontline operations.\n\nManage design variations efficiently, maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation to support Building Commission NSW compliance and audit obligations.\n\nEnsure lift, escalator, and moving walkway systems are fully integrated within regulated buildings and comply with all relevant Building Code of Australia (BCA) requirements.\n\nProvide subject matter expertise and technical support to the wider CSE team on relevant building codes, standards, and compliance requirements.\n\nWhat are we looking for?\nRegistered Design Practitioner (VT) in NSW is desirable, however if you are currently in the process of obtaining registration or are interested in starting the process - we would love to hear from you.\n\nTo enable Design Practitioner support you will need at least 5 years Vertical Transport Engineering experience in the last 10 years (including 2 years in Australia).\n\nBachelor Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.\n\nEffective communication skills with the ability to communicate with confidence and clarity.\n\nAbility to read technical drawings and translate customer needs into technical specifications.\n\nProven ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team, while managing time and priorities effectively.\n\nWhat do we offer?\nEnjoy career progression opportunities within a global organisation.\n\nAccess a range of benefits that engage and motivate our employees and help us make KONE a great place to work.\n\nGrow with comprehensive learning and development programs covering a wide range of professional skills.\n\nNote: Applicants must either be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia or a citizen New Zealand to apply for this position.\nAt KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
