This is what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.\nJob Description\nThe Design Engineer - Port Solutions Electrics, will be responsible for creating high-quality electrical designs and documentation for port cranes or industrial cranes. The role involves interpreting project specifications, preparing detailed engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with international standards, and coordinating with project teams to deliver accurate and timely outputs.\nKey Responsibilities\nStudy and interpret project specifications, technical requirements, and engineering inputs.\nPrepare panel layouts, single line diagrams (SLDs), schematics, Bill of Materials (BOM), and cable lists as per project requirements.\nPlan and manage personal work activities to meet project timelines with high-quality deliverables.\nImprove and maintain the quality of drawings as per customer and company standards.\nEnsure effective communication and coordination within the team.\nAdhere to company policies, processes, and engineering guidelines.\nTravel to international customer sites as required (valid passport mandatory).\nFollow and maintain awareness of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards\nThe role is based in our office in SP Infocity, Pune - but it goes without saying that the hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.\nRequired Qualifications & Skills\nEducational Qualification\nBachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering from a reputed university.\nExperience\nMinimum 4-6 years of electrical design experience in port cranes or industrial cranes.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals:Power distribution\nMotor control (AC/DC drives)\nControl and protection circuits\n\nExpertise in Zuken E3 and Teamcenter / SAP.\nProficiency in creating electrical drawings including panel layouts, SLDs, schematics, BOMs, and cable lists.\nExperience in cable selection, LV switchgear selection, and understanding of motor control and protection circuits.\nHands-on experience with AutoCAD (preferred).\nFamiliarity with standards: IEC / UL / EN / CSA applicable to crane systems.\nExperience in port cranes or industrial cranes is an added advantage.\nSoft Skills\nGood communication skills in English.\nStrong teamwork and collaboration abilities.\nAbility to work independently with attention to detail.\nQualifications\nEducational Qualification:\nBachelor’s degree holder in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering from reputed university.\nExperience\nSound knowledge of E3 + Team Center / SAP with Min. 4 to 6 years of design experience in field of Port cranes or Industrial cranes.\nAdditional Information\nWhat we offer\nAs a Design Engineer - Port Solutions Electrics, you get to join our team and make your mark in our journey forward.
