This is what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.\nJob Description\nKonecranes & Demag are seeking a driven Field Engineer to join our Sydney team, as an Engineering Specialist - Consultation Services, you’ll play a vital role in providing expert engineering support across site inspections, reporting, and design assessments in Smithfield, Australia. You’ll collaborate with various teams to ensure our solutions align with Australian Standards and exceed client expectations.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct on-site inspections and assessments, creating detailed reports aligned with Australian Standards.\nPerform engineering design calculations and certifications for cranes and other equipment.\nCollaborate with the Consultation Services Manager and inspectors to deliver technical solutions.\nUtilize CRM tools to identify opportunities and create sales cases.\nEnsure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and AS2550.1 standards.\nPromote health, safety, and environmental best practices while fostering a positive safety culture.\nQualifications\nDegree-qualified in Engineering (or related discipline) with professional membership in Engineers Australia.\nProficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other engineering tools.\nStrong knowledge of Australian Standards and experience with crane design (advantageous).\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.\nValid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.\nAdditional Information\nAt Konecranes and Demag, we pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, innovative, and growth-focused environment.
