Remote work is possible as per agreement.\n We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our Finnish financial accounting team. We are mainly responsible for local statutory financial statements (FAS) and indirect and direct taxes for our Finnish companies. You will work in collaboration with a team of six experts and together we take care of four juridical companies in Finland.\nYour key responsibilities\nPreparing Finnish and Foreign registrations VAT compliance and VAT reconciliations\nPreparing Intrastat reporting\nBe responsible for various mandatory regulatory reporting\nTake responsibility for tasks concerning fixed assets\nHandle various other team tasks\nWhat you will bring\nSuitable education in financial accounting and at least a few years of experience in financial roles\nKnowledge of basic VAT matters within an international environment\nFluent in using Office software, particularly Excel\nHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks with deadlines\nFlexibility during busy reporting periods\nInitiative, accountability, and a service-oriented attitude\nProficiency in the English and Finnish languages\nA positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills\nIt's a plus if you have\nKnowledge of foreign VAT registration matters\nExpertise in Intrastat reporting\nKnowledge of matters related to income taxation\nSAP and oneStream skills\nFamiliarity with IFRS/FAS\nWork experience in a large international corporation\n What we offer\nAn opportunity to work in an international environment\nA diverse range of responsibilities\nFlexible working hours and competitive employee benefits\nAn opportunity for hybrid remote work arrangements\nInterested?\nIf this sparked your interest and you meet the qualifications, please send your application and CV via Apply button.\n Konecranes moves what matters.
