This is what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.\n We are recruiting a Fleet Controller to join our team Ashby.\nThe Fleet Controller is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the company vehicle fleet, ensuring vehicles are operated safely, legally, cost-effectively, and in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role supports operational teams by managing vehicle procurement, leasing, maintenance, compliance, incidents, reporting and supplier relationships, whilst driving continuous improvement initiatives relating to fleet performance, sustainability, risk reduction and cost control.\nKey Responsibilities\nFleet Administration\nMaintain accurate fleet records for all company-owned, leased and hired vehicles.\nManage vehicle orders, deliveries, disposals, transfers, returns and short term hire requirements.\nCoordinate vehicle allocations in line with company policy.\nMaintain driver and vehicle documentation.\nSupport the implementation and administration of fleet policies.\nVehicle Compliance & Governance\nEnsure fleet compliance with statutory and company requirements including MOTs, road tax, vehicle servicing, inspections, driver documentation checks and fleet policy compliance.\nMonitor compliance deadlines and coordinate corrective actions where required.\nSupport FORS and other fleet accreditation requirements where applicable which will include training and leading audit requirements.\nSupplier & Contract Management\nAct as the primary liaison with vehicle leasing providers, short-term hire suppliers, maintenance providers, fuel card providers, telematics providers and insurance partners.\nMonitor supplier performance and service levels.\nResolve vehicle and supplier-related issues promptly.\nNegotiate with OEMs to gain discounts, while being aware of KC global agreements\nIncident & Insurance Management\nManage vehicle incident reporting and investigation processes.\nLiaise with insurers, repair providers and drivers.\nMonitor accident trends and support incident reduction initiatives.\nProduce regular analysis of claims, costs and corrective actions.\nFleet Reporting & Data Analysis\nProduce regular fleet performance reports and dashboards.\nMonitor and report on vehicle utilisation, fleet costs, hire vehicle spend, fuel usage, driver behaviour metrics, insurance trends and vehicle downtime.\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce cost.\nSupport budget forecasting and fleet planning activities.\nSustainability & Fleet Strategy\nSupport the transition towards lower-emission and electric vehicles.\nMonitor fleet sustainability metrics.\nAssist with EV implementation projects, charging infrastructure initiatives and fleet replacement planning.\nParticipate in fleet strategy development and continuous improvement programmes.\nInterface with Konecranes Global Category Manager to support global fleet goals.\nSupport CO2 data collation and be the interface with health and safety for this requirement.\nDriver Engagement & Support\nProvide guidance to drivers regarding fleet policies and procedures.\nPresent about fleet requirements at new starter inductions.\nAssist with driver engagement initiatives aimed at improving safety and reducing fleet costs.\nWork closely with operational teams to resolve vehicle-related issues.\n Knowledge, Skills & Experience\nEssential\nExperience in fleet management, fleet administration, transport, procurement or vehicle operations.\nStrong analytical and reporting skills, as well as being highly organised\nExperience managing suppliers and external service providers.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting systems and administrative skills\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\nDesirable\nCILT, FORS, IoTA or fleet-related qualification.\nExperience with fleet management systems and telematics platforms.\nUnderstanding of leasing arrangements and vehicle lifecycle management.\nExperience with fleet compliance standards.\nKnowledge of electric vehicle fleet deployment.\nProfessional Procurement, transport or Fleet management certification.\nOperational Excellence or Transport Management roles\n We offer:\nCompetitive basic salary\nAnnual bonus\nContributory pension scheme, life cover and income protection insurance\n25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays\nBuy/sell holidays\nEmployee shares save scheme\nRetail, travel and leisure discounts\nEmployee assistance programme\nAn inclusive working environment\nQuarterly team lunches\nWeekly fruit basket\nGallons of free tea and coffee\nOnsite parking\nNo Agencies Please\n Konecranes moves what matters.
