This is what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.\n JOB PURPOSE\nThe Site Manager leads the planning, establishment, execution and close-out of crane erection activities at subcontractor yards and customer sites from mobilisation through mechanical completion, commissioning support and handover, ensuring work is delivered safely, in line with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, schedule and site budget, while managing site resources, logistics and records, preventing unauthorised technical, scope or commercial changes, and coordinating closely with Project Management, Operations, Engineering, HSE, Quality, Sourcing, Commissioning, subcontractors, suppliers and customer representatives, with prompt reporting of risks, deviations and required decisions.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nMain duties mentioned below:\nLead site HSE implementation, including risk assessments, method statements, lifting plans, permits and toolbox meetings; stop unsafe or non-compliant work.\nConfirm site readiness, access, work areas, approved documents, materials, tools, equipment and competent resources before work starts.\nPlan and direct erection sequences, lifting, structural and mechanical installation, alignment, welding, bolting and electrical/automation interfaces.\nSupervise subcontractors; control manpower, competence, productivity and workmanship, and require corrective or recovery actions when needed.\nMaintain look-ahead plans; monitor progress, critical activities and resources against the approved schedule and coordinate recovery plans.\nMonitor site execution cost; verify progress quantities and records; promptly report events affecting scope, schedule, cost or contractual obligations.\nEnsure compliance with ITPs and inspection requirements; control NCRs, corrective actions, punch lists, quality records and as-built information.\nReport site status and coordinate mechanical completion, commissioning support, handover, demobilization and lessons learned.\nOther tasks as assigned by line manager.\nAwareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:\nSafety performance and HSE compliance\nAchievement of erection milestones\nSite execution cost versus approved budget\nProductivity, rework and NCR closure\nPunch-list and handover-document closure\nCustomer and internal stakeholder feedback\nCUSTOMERS AND/OR INTEREST GROUPS\nProject Management\nCustomers and site owners/operators\nMain contractors and subcontractors\nInspection bodies and local authorities, where applicable\nCOOPERATION PARTNERS AND NETWORKS\nInternal: Operations, PMO, Engineering, HSE, Quality, Sourcing, Logistics, Commissioning, Sales and Service\nExternal: Subcontractors, suppliers, service providers and customer representatives\n JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS\nEducational requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline\nSpecialized requirements - Qualifications/licences:\nYears of professional experience:Minimum 7 years of relevant heavy industrial erection or installation experience, including at least 4 years in a site supervisory or management role; 10+ years preferred.\nExperience with cranes, material-handling equipment, heavy steel structures or port equipment is preferred.\nPractical knowledge of HSE, heavy lifting, work at height, rigging, site logistics, alignment, welding, bolting and installation inspection.\n\n Language skills:Native Vietnamese Speaker\nCommunicating and writing in English on daily bases (level B2),\n\n Other (please list):Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs and project schedules.\nStrong leadership, subcontractor management, planning, problem-solving, customer-facing and communication skills.\nWorking proficiency in English and relevant reporting/document-management systems.\nAvailable for extended domestic and international site assignments.
