This is what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.\nThe Port Services team specialises in providing advanced equipment, software and maintenance solutions for port container handling and lifting, optimising operations at ports\n We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team in Sines _ Portugal\nIn this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing port equipment, playing a key role in the safety, efficiency and reliability of our operations.\nYour main responsibilities will include:\nCarrying out preventive maintenance, upgrades and repairs on port cranes and other lifting equipment.\nDiagnosing and resolving faults effectively.\nLiaising with customers, engineering teams and the parent company to ensure smooth operations.\nCoordinating with the rest of the technical team to maximise productivity and safety.\nIdentifying and reporting opportunities for improvements or sales during service visits.\nAccurately completing all required technical documentation.\nCarrying out repairs and upgrades to drive systems, including commissioning.\n Essential qualifications:\nCarrying out preventive maintenance, upgrades and repairs on port cranes and other lifting equipment.\nDiagnosing and resolving faults effectively.\nLiaising with customers, engineering teams and the parent company to ensure smooth operations.\nCoordinating and organising the technical team to maximise productivity and safety.\nIdentifying and reporting opportunities for improvements or sales during service visits.\nAccurately completing all required technical documentation.\nCarrying out repairs and upgrades to drive systems, including commissioning.\nDesirable qualifications:\nExperience in assembling port cranes.\nExperience in unloading vessels using cranes.\nGood English skills\n\nPlease note:\nThis role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic port environment.\nOvertime will be compensated accordingly.\nWillingness to work in physically demanding conditions and varying weather conditions is required.\n Konecranes & Demag Ibérica is committed to the personal development of all employees and is proud to offer a range of benefits for these roles, including:\nAn attractive compensation and benefits package, including a competitive base salary depending on skills and experience.\nHealth insurance.\nAccess to the employee discount programme.\nPreferential terms for purchasing Konecranes shares through the “Share Plan”.\nEverything you need to comply with the company’s safety requirements.\n Konecranes moves what matters.
