This is what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.\nJob Description\nThe Manager, SAP Technology leads the SAP Basis and ABAP/Fiori teams and is accountable for reliable SAP platform operations, technical lifecycle management, and effective change and release practices. The role combines people leadership with sufficient hands-on SAP technology expertise to guide complex troubleshooting and technical decisions.\nYour key responsibilities:\nLeadership & Team Management\nLead and develop the SAP ABAP/Fiori Development and SAP Basis teams. Manage team capacity and resource allocation.\nRemove organizational and delivery impediments affecting the teams. Set team objectives, clarify responsibilities, and support competence development.\nCoordinate onboarding and management of internal and external resources.\nOversee external contractor engagement, time tracking, and work assignments.\nSAP Technology Operations\nEnsure the stability, availability, performance, security, and lifecycle management of SAP platforms. Provide technical leadership for complex SAP Basis & platform issues, major troubleshooting activities, and platform-related technical decisions.\nPlan and coordinate technical activities such as OS patching, SAP kernel upgrades, transports, and maintenance windows.\nContribute to SAP platform strategy, lifecycle planning and technical roadmap decisions\nServe as the senior technical coordination point for complex SAP platform issues that require collaboration across multiple teams or service providers.\nAudit & Compliance\nCoordinate SAP-related internal, external, and cybersecurity audits.\nEnsure compliance with SAP change, release, security, and operational controls.\nCoordinate remediation and follow-up of audit findings related to SAP technology..\nDevOps & Release Management\nOwn SAP change, release, and DevOps practices, including their continuous improvement.\nDevelop a controlled, decentralized deployment model in which development teams can deliver changes within clearly defined responsibilities and governance.\nMaintain end-to-end visibility of SAP releases, dependencies, deployment readiness, and production changes.\nAwareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards\nQualifications\nWhat should you bring?\n10+ years of experience SAP Basis and Technology operations in large enterprise environments\nRequired experience:\nStrong experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC operations\nUnderstanding of S/4HANA and SAP BTP connectivity\nStrong experience in SAP change, transport, and release management.\nExperience of Solution Manager ChaRM\nAbility to troubleshoot complex technical issues and communicate decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nKnowledge of agile ways of working and relevant delivery tools such as Jira and ServiceNow. Experience leading technical experts and coordinating internal and external resources.\nExperience working with external service providers in a global enterprise environment.\nGood understanding of SAP architecture, integrations, security, and platform lifecycle management.\nConsidered an advantage:\nExperience with RISE with SAP or SAP private cloud operating models.\nKnowledge of SAP BTP, Cloud Connector, and hybrid SAP landscapes.\nExperience with SAP Cloud ALM.\nExperience with SAP automation, DevOps tooling, AI, Joule.\nGeneral Skills:\nDemonstrated ability to lead and develop technical experts.
