This is what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.\nJob Description\nJob Purpose:\nPromotes and sells the organisation's products and services to develop new business and acquire new customers.\nResponsible for meeting assigned sales targets for repairs, retrofits, hoists and other light lifting equipment, spare parts, in-house repairs, general overhauls and consultation services for assigned areas or responsibility.\nMain Responsibilities:\nPromotes and sells the organizations products and services by means of calls, visits and presentations within an assigned geographic area / product range or list of customer accounts to achieve sales targets.\nUtilises current CRM systems in the sales process efficiently and reports on leads and sales activities regularly.\nPersues sales leads, visits existing and new customers, assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate products and services, respond to customer enquiries, negotiates prices and delivery times and concludes sales orders.\nIdentifies, researches and contacts prospective customers and builds positive relationships generating future sales and repeat business.\nParticipates in trade shows and conventions as and when required.\nTravel to site and attend to the following:\nConsultation services.\nRepairs to crane and hoists.\nOffer service agreements.\nOffer spare parts packages.\nOffer solutions.\nOffer retro fits.\nOffer modernizations.\nAssist with on site designing.\nOn site assistance with projects.\nOn site safety reviews.\nOn site business reviews.\nOn site customer complaints.\nCold calling for new customers.\nQualifications\nQualification/Education:\nNational Higher Diploma (NQF level 6).\nValid driver’s license.\nSkills & Knowledge:\n5+ years' work experience in similar environment.\nExperience in service and/or industrial equipment.\nMust be able to work in confined spaces; elevated areas and at heights.\nMust be able to travel locally and outside SA for operational requirements.\nProficiency with MS Office applications e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.\nBehavioural Competencies:\nBehaves according to highest ethical standards.\nThinks in terms of profit and loss.\nAnticipates and responds to the needs of customers.\nTakes responsibility and drives performance.\nMakes timely, well informed, effective decisions. \nBuilds respect and cooperation and manages conflicts constructively.\nModels effective two-way communication, including feedback.\nStrives for continuous learning and self-development Good team spirit.\nAdditional Information\n Konecranes moves what matters.
