Ideally this candidate should have experience working with open source technology and good knowledge of NGINX, Docker, HTTP, AWS, Postgres and Cassandra.\nWhat You'll Do:\nSupport field sales in helping customers understand the value of the Kong API Management platform\n\nUnderstand and help establish customer requirements and grow trusted client relationships throughout the entire sales lifecycle, from initial product reviews to production\n\nSupport PoCs throughout the entire evaluation process\n\nEnsure 100% customer satisfaction across assigned set of accounts\n\nPrioritise customer needs and coordinate with support, product, and engineering teams to help support customer needs\n\nCreate technical documentation for DevOps, implementations, and services engagements\n\nAny additional tasks required by manager\n\nWhat You'll Bring:\n7+ years software engineer and/or sales engineer management experience at SAAS, Open Source or Enterprise Software company.\n\nWe will also consider those with a background in post-sales or support who are interested and have the aptitude for technical sales.\n\nSolid understanding of cloud computing trends and open source business models.\n\nYou are a strong listener and communicator.\n\nYou can confidently lead a discussion with a group of Product Managers, Engineers, and Executives.Enthusiasm for working in a high profile, fast-paced startup culture.\n\nBonus points:\nExperience with Docker.\n\nFluent working on Linux OSes.\n\nFamiliarity with CD/CI pipeline.\n\nAny knowledge on Kubernetes, DCOS/Mesos and Docker Swarm is a plus.\n\nAbout Kong:\nKong Inc., the AI Connectivity Company, is building the connectivity layer of AI.
