You will become part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary engineering team, working across hardware, firmware, and system design to turn innovative concepts into reliable products.\nWhat you will be doing\nDevelop low-level firmware, bootloaders, device drivers, high speed data acquisition/storage and communication interfaces using technologies such as SPI, I²C, CAN, and Ethernet\nPerform hardware bring-up, debugging, integration, and verification of embedded systems throughout the product development lifecycle\nCollaborate closely with electronics, software, mechanical, and system engineers to deliver robust and innovative technical solutions\nPlan and execute testing, qualification, and validation activities\n Support product lifecycle activities, including production introduction, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and obsolescence management\nContribute to technology development, product innovation, and the continuous improvement of engineering tools, processes, and best practices\nWe think you should have\nRelevant master's degree in embedded systems engineering, computer science or equivalent\nStrong knowledge of embedded systems development, including microcontroller-based hardware and firmware design, debugging and testing\nStrong knowledge of embedded C/C++, communication protocols (SPI, I²C, CAN, Ethernet)\nStrong understanding of 32-bit Microcontrollers (STM32, NXP, TI, etc.), high speed data flows, DMA, Flash memory technologies and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)\nExperience with analogue and digital electronics, EMC considerations, and product verification and qualification\nYou are able to\nAbility to work systematically and independently while taking ownership of technical challenges and deliverables\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams\nCurious, innovative, and motivated to contribute to product development and continuous improvement\nFluent in English, both written and spoken; Norwegian language skills are an advantage\nPre-employment check and security clerance\nThis employment may require a pre-employment check procedure and security clearance in accordance with company security standards, role or site requirements.
