The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes for a portfolio of external clients, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and compliance with Cyprus legislation and statutory requirements. In addition to payroll processing, the role will involve bookkeeping, tax and VAT compliance, Social Insurance submissions and general accounting and administrative duties.\nResponsibilities:\nPrepare and submit Social Insurance contributions, PAYE declarations and other relevant payroll-related forms to the appropriate authorities.\nEnsure payroll calculations and statutory submissions comply with applicable Cyprus legislation and regulations.\nLiaise directly with clients to obtain payroll information, clarify discrepancies and respond to payroll-related queries.\nMonitor statutory deadlines and ensure all payroll obligations are fulfilled on time.\nPerform day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accounting records.\nAssist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns and related declarations on behalf of clients.\nHandle tax-related calculations, submissions and compliance procedures, including relevant tax forms and declarations.\nPerform account reconciliations and assist in maintaining accurate financial records.\nLiaise with clients and relevant authorities regarding accounting, tax, VAT and Social Insurance matters.\nMaintain organised client files, payroll documentation and accounting records.\nHandle general administrative duties related to payroll and accounting services.\nRequest, collect and verify the information required from clients to complete payroll and statutory submissions.\nEnsure documentation is accurate, complete and processed within the required deadlines.\nRequirements:\nGood knowledge of Cyprus payroll procedures and Social Insurance.\nWorking knowledge of VAT calculations and VAT return submissions.\nUnderstanding of Cyprus tax compliance and statutory filing requirements.\nKnowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting records.\nStrong numerical skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and competing deadlines.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-oriented approach.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
