We are seeking a Principal Software Architect to lead the evolution of Konovo’s AI-enabled platform ecosystem and define the architectural foundations that will power our next generation of healthcare intelligence solutions. \nReporting to the Head of Technology, you will provide architectural leadership across eight product-anchored engineering pods operating within a Scrum delivery model. You will partner closely with Engineering, Product, Data, AI teams, and executive stakeholders to ensure technical decisions align with both business objectives and long-term platform strategy. \nYou will own the architecture review process, influence product and technology roadmaps, and define the patterns, processes, and engineering policies that enable teams to build scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. This role is responsible for architectural oversight across multiple product teams spanning customer-facing applications, data platforms, AI powered services, and internal systems.As Konovo continues its evolution from a services-led organization to an AI-enabled platform company, you will play a critical role in defining the technical foundations that accelerate innovation, improve operational efficiency, and create sustainable competitive advantage. \nHow You'll Make an Impact: \nOwn the architecture review process across all engineering teams and ensure alignment with platform strategy. \nEstablish and maintain architectural standards, engineering policies, governance frameworks, and best practices. \nDefine reusable patterns and reference architectures that improve consistency, scalability, and engineering efficiency. \nProvide architectural leadership across customer-facing applications, data platforms, AI services, and internal systems. \nDefine and evolve Konovo’s enterprise architecture strategy and technology roadmap. \nInfluence product and technology roadmaps through strategic architectural guidance and partnership with Product and Engineering leadership. \nEvaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to create business value through innovation. \nLead platform modernization initiatives including API-first architectures, event-driven systems, cloud optimization, and technical debt reduction. \nDefine architecture patterns that enable AI-native products, intelligent automation, machine learning, and generative AI capabilities. \nPartner with Data and AI teams to establish scalable, secure, and operationally sustainable AI platforms. \nEnsure quality, reliability, observability, security, and resilience are built into platform design. \nMentor senior engineers, staff engineers, and technical leaders while fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement. \nCollaborate with globally distributed teams and stakeholders across multiple geographies. \nWhat We’re Looking For: \n10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant software architecture and technical leadership experience. \nProven experience designing and delivering large-scale SaaS platforms and distributed systems. \nExperience providing technical leadership across multiple engineering teams and products simultaneously. \nProven ability to establish architectural governance, standards, and engineering practices within a scaling organization. \nDemonstrated success partnering with Product and Engineering leadership to align technology strategy with business outcomes. \nDeep expertise in distributed systems architecture, microservices, domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and API-first platform design. \nStrong understanding of cloud-native SaaS platforms, performance engineering, scalability, reliability, observability, and security-by-design. \nExperience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred) and modern platform engineering practices. \nExperience influencing strategic technology decisions and long-term platform direction. \nAI-native mindset with experience evaluating, implementing, or enabling AI and machine learning solutions. \nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement. \nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience). \nExperience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, messaging/event platforms, data platform architecture, healthcare technology, or AI-enabled products is a plus. \nTech Stack (Direct experience or willingness to quickly learn) \nBack End: Go, Scala, Node.js, Python \nFront End: JavaScript, TypeScript, React \nDatabase: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DocumentDB, Pinecone \nCloud & Platform: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD Pipelines, Observability & Monitoring Platforms \nAI & Analytics: Machine Learning Platforms, Generative AI, RAG, MCP Analytics & Data Processing Systems \nWhy Join Konovo?
