The Assistant General Counsel will serve as a legal advisor to business partners across multiple departments including sales, supply chain, information technology, digital, marketing, real estate, finance, treasury, tax, and other corporate functions within the Americas region. This attorney will function as a business generalist, partnering closely with teams and leaders throughout the organization to provide practical legal advice, negotiate and manage commercial transactions, support strategic and corporate initiatives, and identify and mitigate legal and business risks. The successful candidate should have experience negotiating and advising on commercial contracts (including both vendor and customer contracts), real estate leasing matters and other corporate and operational matters commonly encountered in a consumer products, retail and apparel business.\nResponsibilities\nProvide practical legal advice and support across a broad range of commercial, corporate, and operational business matters while managing risk.\nDraft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements. Advise on both customer-facing and vendor contracts.\nAdvise on issues commonly encountered in consumer products, retail, and apparel businesses. Support corporate initiatives and business transformation efforts.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate legal and business risks.
