This position requires an individual who is willing to transfer between jobs on an as needed basis.\nJob Description\nEnsure materials reach the proper end destination.\nAdjust equipment speeds and positions to improve the efficiency of the conveyor or line system.\nClear jams and remove damaged materials by stopping the conveyor or line and using hand tools, poles, and bars.\nTransfers between functions within the DC as directed by the supervisor on an as needed basis.\nObserves all safety and work guidelines.\nMaintains work area in a clean and orderly manner.\nOther duties as supervisor may see fit.\n\nEducation/Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nRelated experience preferred.\nSkills\nMust be able to read shipping labels that are printed in English.\nMust be able to follow written and verbal instructions.\nMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to make quick decisions.\n\nPhysical Demands\nOccasional overhead reaching and lifting required.\nMust be able to stand/walk continuously.\nMust be able to carry up to 35 pounds consistently.\nTypical Working Conditions\nMay work around equipment, such as conveyors and rolling stock, which could contain hazards.
