This role will provide broad support across the team, helping execute internal and external communications that strengthen employee engagement, support company priorities and reinforce Kontoor Brands' reputation with key audiences.\nThe successful candidate will be a strong writer and dependable teammate who is eager to learn, comfortable managing details and able to jump in wherever support is needed. This individual will play a generalist role across Corporate Communications, supporting a range of projects, channels, and team priorities while building experience in internal communications, external communications, corporate storytelling and community engagement.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTeam Support & Communications Coordination\nProvide flexible, day-to-day support across the Corporate Communications team, helping move projects forward and ensuring details are tracked and completed.\nHelp coordinate communication projects, timelines, approvals, distribution lists, and follow-up actions.\nSupport the development and execution of communication plans under the guidance of communications team members.\nPartner with internal stakeholders to gather information, confirm details, and help prepare clear, accurate communications.\nServe as a dependable pinch hitter for team priorities, shifting between projects and channels as business needs evolve.\nInternal Channels & Corporate Social Media\nSource, draft, edit, and publish content for internal communications channels, including corporate intranet, email updates, town hall materials, and other employee-facing communications.\nDevelop and coordinate content for corporate social media channels, helping identify story opportunities that reflect Kontoor Brands' culture, business priorities, brands, associates, and community impact.\nMaintain content calendars, track channel needs, and help ensure communications are timely, accurate, and aligned with company messaging.\nAssist with drafting and editing announcements, talking points, presentations, social posts, recaps, and other communications materials.\nMonitor internal and external content opportunities and bring forward ideas that help tell the Kontoor Brands story in a clear, engaging way.\nContent Development & Storytelling\nWrite and edit clear, engaging content across multiple formats and channels.\nHelp identify and develop employee, brand, business, and community stories that support company culture and corporate reputation.\nAdapt messages for different audiences and channels while maintaining a consistent corporate voice.\nProofread materials for accuracy, clarity, grammar, tone, and alignment with editorial standards.\nKontoor Brands Foundation & Community Support\nSupport the Kontoor Brands Foundation grant cycle process, including coordinating timelines, materials, application information, approvals, and follow-up needs.\nHelp organize and maintain grant-related documentation, tracking tools, and communications.\nAssist with communications that highlight community impact, associate engagement, and Foundation-supported initiatives.\nProvide general administrative and coordination support for Foundation-related activities as needed.\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.\nApproximately 2-4 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, marketing communications, social media, journalism, or a related discipline.\nStrong writing samples or demonstrated experience creating communications content for professional, academic, nonprofit, or corporate settings.\nExperience managing details, coordinating projects, and supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nSkills for Success:\nStrong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.\nCuriosity, a willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to taking on new assignments.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to track deadlines and follow through on next steps.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, shift quickly between projects, and remain flexible as needs change.\nComfort working with communication platforms, content management systems, social media tools, Microsoft Office, and basic reporting or tracking tools.\nSound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling company information.\nCollaborative team player who is comfortable asking questions, seeking feedback, and learning from more experienced communications professionals.\nLeadership Competencies Expected for this Role:\nEmerging Leader\nGlobal Agility - Open to diverse views, adapts to new ways of working\nPurposeful Integrity - Demonstrates ethical behavior, follows through on commitments\nStrategic Foresight - Understands team goals, asks strategic questions\nCustomer Centric Innovation - Suggests improvements from customer feedback, tries new methods\nUrgency for Impact - Act quickly and take ownership of outcomes\nBold Accountability - Own your work and deliver consistently strong results\nEmpowered Collaboration - Share ideas, listens well, collaborates with peers\nWhy Kontoor Brands?\nAt Kontoor, we offer a comprehensive benefit package to fit your lifestyle.
