The role requires working knowledge on monitoring tools, network routing & switching, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud-native security, with additional skills in automation, and SDN considered a plus.\n\nKey responsibilities\nEnsure that the network is performing normally by using network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)\nEnsure that all incidents reported are supported on timely manner.\nTravel to remote sites for troubleshooting and support as needed.\nEnsure that all alerts and events in the monitoring tools are being attended to.\nPerform timely escalation to 3rd vendors for hardware, software and telco related problems.\nSupport service requests for operational changes related to load balancers, network switching and routing, firewall rules, update of security policies in security devices.\nPerform firmware upgrades for network and security devices.\nCheck and react to security events on intrusion detection and prevention system, WAF\nCheck, troubleshoot and log ticket to Cloud Service Providers for networking components deployed in Azure, AWS.\nProficiency in using network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)\nAnalyze network performance issues and recommends optimization options for implementation.\nPerform NetFlow tracing\nEnsure timely update and closure of ITSM tickets\nWork with the team and 3rd party vendors to provide root cause analysis for incidents.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n5 years of relevant hands-on experience.\nStrong understanding of routing protocols, SDN, VPNs, and network security best practices.\nCertification: CCNA or CCNP or equivalent (Preferred)\nExperience with network monitoring and support of Cisco Routing and Switching, Network load balancers, Checkpoint or Palo Alto Firewalls\nFamiliar with ITIL best practices and processes\nGood knowledge of networking (IP addressing, routing, VLANs)\nFamiliarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible) and orchestration concepts.\nDesired Skills & Qualifications\nExperience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN): Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, Juniper Contrail, SD-WAN.(pref)\nProficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and performance optimization.\nKnowledge of VPN and remote access solutions (Cisco AnyConnect, Palo Alto GlobalProtect).\n.\n\nSkills\nimplementing monitoring tools, Intrusion Prevention System, Implementation of ITIL procedures, CCNA, Network Load Balancing Services, CCNP, Network Monitoring, Automation Tools, Technological Proficiency, Remote Troubleshooting,
