This role is responsible for leading the technological solution development from initiation through implementation. You'll play a key role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop the solution architecture to meet business needs while ensuring adherence to the overarching enterprise architecture blueprint. \nKEY RESPONSIBILITES (JOB REQUIREMENTS) \n1 Enterprise Architecture Governance & Strategy \n2 Align the development of RWS IT landscape according to the set-out IT architectural principles and standards across the RWS organization \n3 Participate in the forming up and execution of various RWS IT strategies \n4 Participate in architecture reviews for new systems or changes to existing systems \n1 Solution Design & Architecture \n2 Explore and evaluate technologies & solutions in pursuance of the RWS digital transformation journey \n3 Drive the RWS Business Services Platform initiative across the different lines of business \n4 Support proof-of-value initiatives to meet business and IT needs \n5 Provide technical leadership to project teams in areas of solution design and application development \n6 Perform technical design reviews and ensure enterprise-wide architectural standards are adhered to \n1 Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration \n2 Engage stakeholders (i.e. project teams and business units) to ensure solution architecture is aligned with business functional and non-functional requirements \n3 Foster strong partnerships across departments, including various customer facing business units, and operations, to support solution implementation success \nJOB REQUIREMENTS/JOB QUALIFICATIONS \nBachelor's degree in computer science with a specialization in software engineering, application development, or similar \nTechnology enthusiast with a minimum of 10 years working experience in the fields of IT architecture and software development \nAvid practitioner of system architecture design patterns such as modularity designs, event-driven architectures, and microservices architectures \nHighly proficient in development platforms/frameworks/tooling such as Java, .NET Core, Springboot, Kubernetes, Jenkins and OpenSearch \nGood knowledge in Cloud technologies; X-as-a-Service from different Cloud Services Providers (CSP) \nFamiliar with project delivery methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile/Scrum) \nExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills \nExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills \nSuperb organizational and time management skills \nGreat collaboration and communication skills \nCORE COMPETENCY \n1.
