This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.\nLead requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into clear functional specifications and system solutions\nPartner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to design, improve, and standardize business processes\nTranslate business needs into functional specifications, system configurations, and enhancements within business applications\nSupport business application modules through configuration changes, enhancements, and defect resolution in coordination with IT and managed services\nSupport testing activities (SIT/UAT), including test case definition, execution, and defect tracking\nDevelop and maintain process documentation, job aids, and best practices\nCommunicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders\nSupport change management efforts including training development, communications, and user adoption activities\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in business, accounting, information technology, or related field \n10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in manufacturing or chemical industries ideally with MRP exposure\nStrong understanding of end-to-end business processes across Finance, Procure to Pay, Supply Chain, and/or Manufacturing\nExperience with financial processes preferred:Month-end close\nFinancial reconciliation\nSOX controls\nAudit support\nPublic Company environment\n\nExperience with costing concepts (e.g., inventory, average/standard costing) and account reconciliation processes, with the ability to trace transactions from subledger through to General Ledger for analysis and troubleshooting\nStrong SQL understanding with the ability to query, analyze, and validate data across enterprise systems; experience writing complex queries, troubleshooting data issues, performing data reconciliation, and supporting business process analysis and reporting.\nProven experience writing functional requirements and supporting testing cycles\nAbility to translate business needs into clear, actionable solutions\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills\nKoppers Inc. and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
