This role creates and manages device configuration workbooks, supports manufacturing and operations teams, and ensures quality standards are consistently met through process adherence, First Article Inspections (FAIs), audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThis position works cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Support teams to ensure accurate, scalable, and compliant device configuration processes.\nCORE ACCOUNTABILITIES\nProcess Engineering & Device Configuration\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize configuration workbooks, process documentation, and work instructions for IoT\ndevice provisioning and deployment\nTranslate technical product requirements into clear operational procedures and configuration workflows\nSupport configuration activities including firmware loading, SIM provisioning, network setup, labeling, serialization,\nand customer-specific programming requirements\nCollaborate with Engineering and Product teams to implement new product introductions (NPI) and process\nchanges\nIdentify opportunities to improve configuration efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline workflows\nAssist in troubleshooting device configuration issues and support root cause analysis activities\nMaintain process version control and ensure documentation accuracy across manufacturing and operations\nenvironments\nQuality & Compliance\nEnsure configuration workbooks and operational procedures are consistently followed by production and operations\nteams\nConduct process audits and monitor adherence to established quality standards and work instructions\nSupport First Article Inspections (FAIs) for new products, configuration changes, or process updates\nAssist with internal, customer, and external audits by preparing documentation and supporting corrective actions\nParticipate in CAPA, nonconformance investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives\nMonitor quality metrics and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions\nHelp maintain compliance with ISO, customer, and regulatory requirements where applicable\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Technical Support teams to ensure successful device\ndeployment and operational readiness\nProvide training and guidance on configuration processes and documentation updates\nSupport scaling of configuration operations for new customers, products, and global deployments\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Supply Chain, or related field preferred\n2-5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, or technical operations\nExperience working with IoT devices, electronics manufacturing, or technical configuration environments preferred\nKnowledge of process documentation, work instructions, and manufacturing workflows\nFamiliarity with quality systems, audits, and First Article Inspection (FAI) processes\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and process documentation tools\nExperience with ERP, MES, or quality management systems is a plus\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies\nFamiliarity with cellular connectivity, firmware management, or embedded devices\nExperience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing or device provisioning environments\nKey Skills\nProcess improvement\nAttention to detail\nTechnical documentation\nQuality assurance\nRoot cause analysis\nCross-functional collaboration\nProblem-solving\nTime management\nOTHER DUTIES\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
