This position partners with employees, leaders, and HR team members to support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, training, compliance, performance management, and day-to-day HR operations.\nThe ideal candidate is approachable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing employee needs with business priorities. This role requires someone who can build trusted relationships, maintain confidentiality, communicate effectively, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.\nThe HR Generalist will help ensure HR processes are consistent, compliant, efficient, and aligned with Koroseal's culture and business objectives. This position reports to the Manager, HR and is based onsite at our Medina Corporate Office.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as a trusted HR resource for employees and leaders, providing guidance on workplace questions, policies, procedures, and employee concerns. \nPartner with managers and supervisors to evaluate and address employee relations matters, attendance concerns, performance issues, and workplace conflicts. \nProvide guidance to managers on the interpretation and consistent application of HR policies, practices, and procedures. \nSupport employee investigations, corrective actions, and related documentation while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. \nManage recruiting and onboarding activities, including candidate coordination, new hire paperwork, orientation, and required documentation. \nMaintain accurate and timely employee records in the HRIS throughout the employee lifecycle, including hires, employee changes, leaves, benefits, and terminations. \nAdminister employee benefit programs, including enrollments, qualifying life events, open enrollment, and employee questions. \nAdminister employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, disability, and other applicable leave programs. \nCoordinate employee offboarding, including required documentation, HRIS updates, benefit notifications, and separation activities. \nAssist managers with performance management, coaching, corrective action, and related documentation. \nExercise judgment in handling day-to-day HR matters and escalate complex or sensitive issues to HR leadership as appropriate. \nMaintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. \nMaintain accurate and confidential personnel files and ensure required employment documentation and records are properly maintained. \nStay informed of changes in employment regulations and HR best practices. \nSupport HR projects, process improvements, employee engagement initiatives, and other HR programs as needed. \nPerform all other duties as assigned. \nSkills & Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. \n2+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or similar hands-on work environment. \nWorking knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, recruiting, benefits, onboarding, and employment compliance. \nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. \nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail. \nAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. \nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance employee needs and business requirements. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. \nExperience with an HRIS, timekeeping, recruiting, or applicant tracking system. \nExperience with benefits administration and open enrollment. \nKnowledge of federal and state employment laws. \nExperience supporting employee engagement, training, or organizational development initiatives \nMust be able to walk and sit for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 20lbs safely \nKoroseal Total Rewards\nVacation time, personal time, and 11 paid holidays?
