KORRES is looking for a talented Transport Assistant to join its Logistic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Transport Manager in the daily planning and coordination of domestic and international transportation activities.
• Monitor and ensure the timely execution of shipments in line with daily/weekly schedules and business requirements.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse, Customer Service, Sales, and other relevant departments to ensure the smooth preparation and execution of shipments.
• Maintain daily communication with transportation companies, external partners, and drivers to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor shipment progress and support the resolution of delays, deviations, or other operational issues in collaboration with the Transport Manager.
• Prepare, review, and manage all necessary documentation related to transportation and shipments.
• Enter and update transportation-related data in the relevant information systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor the completion of deliveries and collect the relevant Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation, where required.
• Support the review of transportation charges and the reconciliation of related invoices and supporting documentation.
• Maintain and update transportation records and support the preparation of relevant reports and KPIs.
• Support the Transport Manager in initiatives aimed at improving transportation processes, ensuring timely service and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a similar role.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with SAP will be considered an asset.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Sense of urgency, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
